Performing Company: Dance House 

The Dance House is part of Wales Millennium Centre and is both a home-base for Diversions and a world-class production facility and performance space for other dance projects.

Diversions is one of seven resident organisations based at the Wales Millennium Centre along with Welsh National Opera, Hijinx, Touch Trust, Ty Cerdd, Academi and Urdd. WMC is a creative hub not only where we develop our work as individual organisations but also through collaboration, partnership and co-operation.

The Dance House is always buzzing with activity throughout the year from the creation and rehearsal of Diversions' current repertoire, to our extensive Dance Explorer activity which includes artistic co-productions; youth dance events and high level training.

That means the Dance House provides us with a strong home-base from which talent and creativity can develop, ensuring a successful and vibrant future fordance in Wales.

The Dance House has two production studios, a lounge area and office space. The main production studio, the Blue Room, has the highest quality technical specification for producing and presenting dance, including 100 tiered and retractable seats. The second studio, the Man Gwyn, is a simple square rehearsal studio complete with ballet barres, mirrors and full circle grey drapes for rehearsal or intimate presentations.
